The younger face of business…
Welcome to the first online issue of Liberate Magazine: Entrepreneurs & Opportunities! This month we want to explore the next generation of entrepreneurs. These early 30s, late 20 somethings hold meetings in “virtual offices,” have cell phones as “business lines,” know how to write everything off on their taxes and are gaining territory in the marketplace.
They are not only determined, but they have strong educational backgrounds and/or experience too. This new breed of entrepreneurs come from all socio-economic and cultural segments of society as well. You are probably wondering why we chose “35 and under.” Well, a large majority of the young entrepreneurs we’ve met over the past year currently fall into this category. We want to tell some of their stories. Why are more people starting businesses at younger ages?
We can speculate the job market has something to do with it. We can say higher gas prices are a contributing factor (don’t ask us how), or we can simply ask them. Among the entrepreneurs we interviewed, you will find a coffee house owner, real estate agents, and a web developer to name a few. We also talked with some “seasoned” business veterans as we will in every issue. We found their stories to be enlightening, interesting and inspiring.

Love the layout!!
